Clutch Disc
Clutch disc is a component that facilitates the transfer of power between the engine and the transmission in internal combustion engine vehicles. Clutch discs are typically made of friction materials and metal plates, designed to transmit engine RPM to the transmission in a way that ensures smooth and efficient power transfer.
Clutch discs are used to temporarily engage or disengage the rotational movement between the engine and the transmission. When the driver releases the clutch pedal, the friction between the clutch disc and pressure plate decreases, allowing the engine power to be transferred to the transmission. When the clutch pedal is pressed, friction increases, and engine power is temporarily disconnected from the transmission.
