What is Brake Disc?

How Does a Brake Disc Work?

The pads press evenly on both surfaces of the disc with the pressure force created by the brake fluid, which slows the vehicle down.

In order for the pads to compress the rotating disc evenly, the disc, caliper or both pads must move in an axial direction.
